You watch what you say, what you do, how the kids behave, even the way you look.
You remember happier days before love was replaced by violence, nurturing replaced
by insults, and trust replaced by fear. When will it get better? Can you be safe?
You are not alone, SafeSpace can help you. Make the call now—for the sake of your children and your life.
Volunteers are a vital and valuable part of our agency
and enhance our ability to offer comprehensive services to victims
of domestic violence and their children.
Every year we rely on the community to contribute
financial and personal resources to help us continue to serve
victims of domestic violence and their families.
SafeSpace is a safe, secure, and confidentially located shelter. The shelter services
we provide are comprehensive and specifically designed to anticipate the needs of victims.

If you think your activities are being monitored, they probably are.
Your abuser may be monitoring your web activities. Be careful how you use your computer.
Sudden changes in your Internet activities, such as suddenly deleting your entire Internet
history or no longer using the computer at all, may make your abuser become suspicious.
To avoid this suspicion, continue to use your computer for activities such as looking
at the weather, current events and the like. When using the Internet to look for help with your
abuse, use a computer in a public library, at a trusted friend's house, or an Internet café.
